A Lowrider is any car, truck, or bike that is modified to be lower
than stock. Lowriders started out as a Mexican-American phenomenon in East Los
Angeles, and the majority of lowriders aficionados are still Latinos. Lowriding
has grown so much thanks to rap videos and movies that feature them. Lowriding
is now a international business that's growing among other racial groups. The
cars can range from 1930's bombs to 60's classics to brand new foreign cars,
mini-trucks to bicycles. Lowriders will always represent our love of our cars
and our Chicano Culture.
